The cost of excavating a utility trench can vary based on several factors, including:

Trench Length: The overall length of the trench will influence the cost.

Rock Hammering: If rock hammering is necessary, it may increase the expense.

Backfill Requirements: Whether the excavated material can be reused or if imported material is needed will affect the pricing.

Type of Utility: The specific utility being installed can also impact the cost.

To provide an accurate estimate, we recommend speaking with one of our estimators. Please contact our office to schedule a discussion about your project specifics.

To grade and gravel a driveway is a job-specific task depending on the length, width, and depth of gravel required for your driveway. Please call to schedule a time with an estimator who will be happy to help you with your specifications to determine the cost for your project.

Trucking

  • Live Floor
  • Dump Truck
  • Chip Hauling
  • Tub/Belly Dump
  • Stellar Box Trucks
  • Lowboy/Equipment Hauling

It depends on the truck and your location. We typically charge by the ton of material plus truck time to deliver the load. Our material and truck rates can be found on the “Materials” tab of our website, however, different trucks can hold different amounts and time to various location can vary. Call our office to speak to someone for project specific pricing.

No, but we do have super dump trucks, which can hold roughly 18 cubic yards or 25 ton of payload without a trailer.

If the area to receive the material is flat side to side, we can spread loads of most aggregate materials with dump trucks; however, it will not result in a finished surface or a consistent depth, width, etc. We recommend using grading equipment to finish all surfaces, even with spread-dumping the load.

Grinding

For any land clearing or grinding project, we have the capabilities to resourcefully collect and process sod, mulch, brush, trees and limbs, as well as other types of waste wood for recycling and other uses.

Typically, we can grind about 200 cubic yards per hour. Large projects can be bid on a per truckload basis. Please call our office to speak with a representative about estimating your project.

Because every situation and job is unique, and the quantity of trees is difficult to determine, we typically require at least five chip truckloads, which equate to approximately 400 cubic yards of ground material, which translates to around 1,000 cubic yards of loose wood debris.

The grinder can accept an 18″ stump; anything larger must be split into two or four pieces. Stumps must be free of dirt and rock.

The customer is responsible for splitting stumps that are larger than 18″ in diameter. Any stumps larger than 18″ will be split on a per-hour basis.

The grinder trailer is mounted on Tracks.

Wood and Aggregate Recycling

Clean dirt, rock, asphalt, and rebar-free concrete is free of charge to dispose of. Sod, concrete with rebar, and wood materials are charged a nominal disposal fee. Details can be found on the “Materials” tab of our website.
